He was on time and friendlyThe owner George came out to do an estimate. He was on time and friendly. He is a very people oriented person. During the course of the work he and/or sometimes son Scott came each day to supervise the work and listen to any of our concerns. He always answered our phone calls rapidly and was patient, answering any questions. At the end he did a walk through with us to see if we were satisfied with the work. My wife Eileen and I will definitely use him again in the future and recommend him to others.
The house looks beautifulIt was a pleasure to work with George Parks and his crew. We wanted our house painted and I thought we needed a new roof. George came out, looked at it and said with a few repairs and touch ups we could get another five years on the roof. The quote for the painting was thorough and very reasonable. They came out on schedule and worked very hard, right through a heat wave. When items came up that were not on the original quote (mostly our requests) he provided a detailed update with no hard sell. The house looks beautiful. We would absolutely use George and his team again.

took [only] 3 daysIt took 3 days to do the whole job. The workers started by laying plastic on the patio slab and covered windows and doors. They sanded and cleaned where needed before painting. The facia was sanded to bare wood where severe checking was noted and filled if needed prior to priming and painting. All wood doors and frames were prepared and painted. The crew arrived at a reasonable hour and worked a full day. George and his son showed up each day for a short time checking on progress.

bringing them back..I hired this company because of the reviews and they were a “one stop” do it all for my needs. They were able to meet my time-line. Am I satisfied with the result? Yes, I am. I wish I could post pictures. I was able to not take off work while the job was done. Minor clean up was daily, complete trash haul at end of jobWere there some issues? When isn’t there any issues with anything in life. The important difference here is the issues were not earth shattering, minor, and most importantly solved to my satisfaction. So much so I’m planning on bringing them back for more painting.Would I recommend them to you, without reservation, yes, with the caveat of not overshadowing, but just being aware what is being done daily.Thanks Chris and George. Little bit says thanks too.. The cats, weird creatures they are, however, say good riddance!!! :):)
looks beautifulThe paint job (consisting of three different colors) looks beautiful. The guys did a really careful job, making sure to achieve complete coverage without cutting corners. Moreover, they did a nice, neat job, making sure first to cover our furniture and patio with plastic, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. They were also a pleasure to work with, communicated well, and genuinely cared about the quality of their work. Chris Parks skillfully managed the job throughout, from initial bid to determining level of customer satisfaction. He effectively explained the details of the job to my wife and me, and maintained communications with us throughout
OMG!!!OMG!!! The George Parks Roofing & Painting crew is great!!!First, they removed our old roof, and then replaced it with a new GAF roof. They also took care of the city inspection and cleaned up all of their materials when the job was completed. Since they did such a terrific job, we then decided to hire them to paint our house.The house looks fantastic and we are constantly getting compliments from our neighbors. Thanks GPR&P for making our house look like a home again!
best experience...everAfter the excellent roofing repair job done by Orange County Painting Pros & Roofing in October, 2013, we had Chris Parks give us an estimate to paint the house in the spring of 2014. Our home is over 6,000 sq. ft. and it needed not only full re-painting (including the garage doors) but there was considerable wood and window frame deterioration that needed repair. Chris and his team were a pleasure to work with. Chris helped me get through the Homeowner’s Assn. approval process very quickly, hand delivering the paint samples to the Architectural Committee and giving them all the details of our project. Once the painting began, under Chris’s supervision, his crew took great care to make sure there was no paint over-spray on the pool area or walkways below. Our homes have very small side yards and Chris made sure the neighbor’s house was adequately protected from any over-spray as well. His guys spent days sanding and sealing all of my damaged wood window frames and wood door frames before painting them. They clearly are a very professional company with all the appropriate equipment (scaffolding, ropes, etc) to handle a job as large as mine. Before the end of our job, Chris, my husband and I walked around the house to pick up any minor spots that needed touch-ups and they were taken care of immediately. Chris wanted to be sure we were 100% satisfied before making our final payment. The exterior of my home looks beautiful and I still get compliments from neighbors who pass by. I can’t recommend Chris Parks and Orange County Painting Pros and Roofing enough. If you have been putting off painting your home because it just seems too overwhelming, just call Chris Parks and in no time, your job will be done competently, carefully and most of all professionally. When I am ready for my next interior paint job, I will be calling Chris again for sure. Working with Orange County Painting Pros & Roofing was the best experience we have ever had with any contractor
A+++++++They painted the outside of my house and painted one bedroom. They were here July 7-9. If I could give them an A+++++++, I would. I have never had any painters who are so conscientious, thorough, and neat. They were all very nice people, and it was a very pleasant experience. I am very happy with the results
so pleasedWe are so pleased with the work that was completed on our 1954 stucco home in Long Beach. Chris got back with me within an hour of calling and was able to come by for an estimate. The bid was in line with other companies. We went with him because he was knowledgeable about paints and finishes. We checked out one of the other properties that they painted as well and were impressed. They started within a few days.The job lasted 5 days. ALL CREDIT goes to his crew. Peter,Mike, Miguel,and Silverio, were exceptional. They were respectful and always asked clarification before doing any repair or painting. Communication was not an issue. They were skilled craftsmen repairing stucco and wood damage. They only took lunch breaks and were on time every day. They were patient with the dogs and kids. Everything on the house looks brand new and cohesive. We would use them again in the future but with the quality of the work,we probably won’t need to because it will last a long time.”

Chris went the extra mile and had his crew paint an unattached wall in my backyard that I was not expecting in addition to my patio cover! I will definitely use George Parks company again!! I have received many positive comments about the exterior look of my home from neighbors and friends.
quite pleased“The project went very well. I had contacted 4 contractors to obtain bids. Chris, one of George’s sons (family owned business) responded the same day. He and I made appointment for him to come by the following day and take a look to give me a price. He promptly showed. Chris was very courteous, patiently explained in detail what the exterior needed and gave me a price then and there along with some options. The other contractors took days to follow up with me and one of them actually finally called after George Parks had completed the job. George Parks crew, usually 5-6 men, were there everyday working (except Sunday) for at least 9 hours in very hot temperatures above 90. Very hard workers and very polite. Chris and George came by everyday to check on the progress. I was quite pleased that the job was done in 5 days because the noise and disruption with any home project is a drag. One other contractor I had contacted quoted me two weeks to complete
I never write reviews. But i made a exception for this company. George and his boys are by far the best contractors I have worked with. I flip homes as a side income and have seen it all. I felt so comfortable with them. They re-stuccoed and cleaned up well.
I worked with George Park’s son Chris. Contracted with him to reroof and paint the exterior of my 2,000 sf ranch style house. Chris was reasonable to work with during the bid process and offered good information. Both the reroof and the exterior painting were completed very quickly which was a big plus for me. The roof came out better than expected. The roofers are a top-notch crew that really know their stuff. The lead roofer even did a slight modification to the roof line that improved the look and function without being asked. You can tell they take pride in their work. The paint crew, however, was a mixed bag. The lead painter seemed to know his stuff but a few of the workers took preparation short cuts that caused the several areas of the paint to fail within the first couple of weeks. I sent Chris pictures and he sent the lead painter out to fix the problem with in a couple of days. Overall I am a satisfied customer who would go out of my way to recommend the roofers.

George and his crew are excellent! We needed a lot of work done on our house which included wood replacement, stucco repair, large areas of trim replaced by stucco as well as painting of the house. Everything was done in a very efficient manner. George and his crew were very responsive to our needs. They were very hard working and very congenial. I would not hesitate to use them again.
I truly got lucky and chose George Parks and their whole crew to take care of my home. Their work was excellent, professional, on time, and reasonably priced. I will definitely continue to use them for future projects of mine!!

We love George and Chris Parks. We hired them to do our roof as well painting our house outside. Both were very professional, quick to answer to any questions and concerns and very easy to work with. 5 stars not only for the work performance, but also for the service you get. The outside of our house hasn’t been painted in at least 20-25 years and the wood was showing it. Now, it looks like new:). I would totally recommend them to anyone I know.
We found Orange County Painting Pros through a Yelp search and have to say that the 5 stars is well deserved. We had had a number of bids to have our roof redone prior to his bid and decided to go with them because his estimate was competitive, he was prompt for his appointment and was not pushy and gave great suggestions. We live in an area that requires HOA approval and George helped streamline the process by taking samples to the HOA on our behalf. The work crew were polite and professional. George came on sight ever day to check progress and make sure we had any questions or concerns addressed. The job was completed on time and cleanup was thorough. A couple of months later we decided to paint the exterior of our home and we had no hesitation in who we were going to call. George was prompt again and the job was completed in 2 days. He had his painter come and touch up any spots that we noticed. I highly recommend his company for roofing and painting!

Through the whole process they made sure everything was cleaned up and organized. When there were small issues that came up outside of the scope of work, he treated us fairly! I just had my 3,400 sq foot home’s exterior repainted and they did an excellent job — returning twice to fix some small touch ups. They also replaced several siding boards and were careful of my roof when working on the top of the house. Not inexpensive but top quality paint and work – I’d use them again.
We bought an older home that needed lots of work; painting, window glazing, roof tile replacement… The George Parks crew came in and saved all of the old windows, helped us find the traditional trim color we wanted and rebuilt our front pergola which was rotting. The finished result is exactly what we wanted. Our neighbor is raving that the house has never looked more beautiful! The crews were so dedicated they worked late into the evening and were always polite respectful. The owners are attentive and follow up consistently. We can definitely recommend them with enthusiasm and plan to use them in the future.

I was on a very tight budget and decided to get several bids to make sure I was getting a fair price. I dealt with Chris and he stood out from the bunch. Chris had excellent communication throughout the process and gave me great information. Chris never mislead me. He was very understanding of my budget and I ended up paying less than I thought I would. The workers know their craft and finished everything in only 3 days. They left my home clean and free of debris. I would definitely recommend this company for someone looking for an honest contractor. You will get a very fair price and fantastic work ethic.
